A handy tool when countertop space is limited and a great alternative for the popular magnetic knife holder, which can only hold knives made of steel. This floating rack, on the other hand, can hold knives of all materials and up to 6 knives in total. The knives slide into a perfectly sized slot, which keeps the knives from tipping sideways.
Available in European oak or American walnut wood with a hand rubbed oil finish (food safe) that brings out the natural grain beautifully and also protects the wood from moisture. Handcrafted in the Netherlands.
We like to work with local suppliers, therefore we get the wood for our knife racks from a lumber yard in our hometown. The screw slots are 3D printed using PLA filament, a biodegradable plastic made from agricultural crops.
Each knife block is handcrafted by us and has a one-of-a-kind grain pattern and texture. Wood is a natural product; each piece of wood is unique. As a result of this structure and color differences between parts are inevitable.
